I’m Keith Binding, Director of Spirit Consulting.
I have twenty-five years business development, marketing and commercialisation experience, working with top-end B2B and B2C service sector companies, both early-stage and mature technology businesses, and professional services firms. All are knowledge-intensive enterprises.
I was originally a commercial litigation solicitor, and gained my MBA at Cranfield. I spent five years at Arthur Andersen as a senior member of the business development team, developing and implementing BD/marketing initiatives for the firm’s Media, Telecoms and Technology practices during a period of unprecedented growth.
As Commercial Director of Critical I, I was responsible for the design and build of the company’s predictive commercial analytics platform for the life sciences sector, and for developing and selling life sciences market intelligence services to venture capital funds, biotechnology and Fortune 500 companies, and to government agencies.
Since 2005 my primary focus has been on providing business planning, BD and market assessment support to organisations, both large and small, in both the private and public sector, with a particular emphasis on the environmental, infrastructure and software sectors.
I chair the Assessment Panel for the Natural Environment Research Council’s Innovation Follow-On Fund. The Fund helps develop promising environmental technologies to the point at which they can attract commercial partners and investment. I sit on various innovation award and business plan competition panels.
Spirit Consulting’s network of associates includes business development and sales specialists, market research specialists, innovation experts, data scientists, and database developers. We have all worked for some of the most highly-regarded names in the corporate world, share a common passion for delivering results, and have the track record to prove it.
